Ever since I signed up a few months back, dealing with Clearco has been nothing short of a headache. They messed up my bank info for repayments and it took them two whole months to sort it out. During that time, I couldn't pay any of my vendors. Now that the bank details are finally correct, I'm still stuck unable to make payments. Reaching out to Support is a total gamble. There's no phone option, just email, so you end up just waiting around. When you do get a reply, if the person isn't clued in on your problem, they often send you the wrong fix, and then you're back in the queue for another long wait. Funding is supposed to ease the burden on your business, but working with Clearco has just added more stress to our plate.

All was good until we got the funding. The customer service is terrible, and they keep sending irrelevant emails in response to my complaints, just closing cases without resolution. The funds were canceled and still haven't been refunded. I've been trying to get a decent answer for more than a week now.

I signed up for ClearAngel and got deceived. They promised that in return for funding, I’d get the assistance I needed to expand my business, and in turn, they’d take 2% of my sales for four years. I’ve been keeping my part of the deal by sharing my profits, but they sure haven’t done their part. I did my homework before jumping into this program because I wanted to know what kind of help I’d actually get. So far, I haven’t seen ANY of that help. The coaches? A total joke (most days, I forget I even have one). They’ve practically got no staff left, and they’re doing nothing for the founders who trusted them. Now they’re claiming I’m breaching the contract just because I don’t want them to keep taking money from my account when they’ve basically wrecked the program I signed up for. They got millions in funding and didn’t use a dime to help us out. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

I've been collaborating with Clearco since 2018. Lately, I've noticed what others are mentioning in their reviews: dealing with Clearco has become a bit trickier, and their responsiveness isn't what it used to be. My representative managed to secure another advance, but it took quite a few weeks, and the amount was significantly lower than what I had received before. On the bright side, the terms and conditions were much clearer this time, which helped me grasp the fees better. Andrew, my rep, shared that the company is undergoing some transitions, and I appreciated his insights on why the funding process has slowed down and why the amounts have changed. Overall, Clearco is a solid company, and I'm eager to continue our partnership in the future.

Is Clearco still operating these days? We successfully got our funds and paid them back through revenue percentage. Now, it seems like funding has stopped, and the team doesn’t have a clue when things might get back to 'normal'. Clearco really needs to share their future plans or they might end up damaging their brand in the long run.

I finished my application and linked my platforms. After signing the application and setting up the direct debit, I was informed that they were halting international funding just two weeks later! Not a great experience for someone looking to become a client!

This is likely one of the most frustrating companies to get a loan from.

They claimed they would settle our Shopify capital, but then said they’d only send it to their bank. When I reached out to Shopify, they told me it was not possible. (I ended up paying off the loan myself.)

To make matters worse, my account manager either quit or got fired, and now no one replies to my messages. Support just cut the chat on me. 😂😂

Never again.

This company seems all good until you actually need help with repayments. Then it’s just a whole lot of waiting around. They keep dragging their feet on what was agreed upon. Good luck getting your account manager on the line, and support takes ages to get back to you, making everything take even longer. Absolutely a nightmare of a lender, and I won’t be coming back, not ever.

STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY! Their customer service is the worst I've ever dealt with. You might wait WEEKS for a response after reaching out via email. They’ve charged me incorrectly for $4,600 and it’s been over a month with no fix in sight. There are tons of other lending options available. We’re done with them and have already found a new lender for when we wrap things up with these folks.

I can’t believe someone suggested I email support@. NOBODY ANSWERS THOSE TICKETS. Don’t fall for this nonsense. They seem great and quick to respond before they get your money. I’ve even left voicemails for folks. No one replies, no one gets back to you. It’s a total DISASTER of a company.

I really feel like Clearco is there for me.

I was uncertain about the specific payment conditions or how the whole process operates. Since it's my first time borrowing for my business anywhere, I was hoping for a bit of clarity on how things function. THIS IS NOT FRIENDLY FOR BEGINNERS, as they likely focus all their attention on 'HIGH SALES' companies and neglect the smaller ones. I reached out to customer service, specifically Caitlin, and it took her 5 days to respond, and all I needed was a simple explanation of how it works. I followed up again, but she still didn’t reply. It’s clear they’re not interested in my business, and I’d prefer to find another option.
